The 2023 OBX1st Annual USAT Youth Splash and Dash will take place on Saturday, July 29th at the OBX YMCA. Splash and Dash' is a fast-growing sport that combines swimming and running, no bike required!

Children ages 7 to 10 will do a 100-meter swim and a 1k run. Children ages 11 to 15 will do a 200-meter swim and a 2k run. This event is sanctioned and produced by USA Triathlon as a series Triathlon for youth.

Children of all experience levels are welcome to participate. The Splash and Dash will not be timed, leaving the focus on participation rather than competition. Your Child will need to register by going to OBSE web site?  Kids will need to wear a swimsuit and bring their own towel and running shoes to participate!

Race Schedule:

• 7:30 am - Transition Opens
• 8:15 am - Pre-Race Instructions
• 9:00 am - Youth Heats Start
• 10:30 am - Awards

*Participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal, and food/beverage
*Register by June 21 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. 
*All participants must purchase a one-time annual USA Triathlon annual membership ($10) – required for all USAT events
