Another Round 25K

Another Round 25K | Date: October 19, 2024 at 7:30 am

Location: Jockey's Ridge State Park, Nags Head, NC

The Another Round 25k will be hosted at Jockey's Ridge State Park.  Event Parking will be at Jockey's Ridge.  Bathrooms will be available, refueling between loops will be at the Start/finish.  You're welcome to bring tents, coolers, grills, and pets.  Pets MUST be on a leash.  A fun Festive area for spectators and participants will be available.  Food vendors will be on the premises for a cost.  Music for all!  There is a swimming area and beach access.  Spectators that are going to swim at Sound must park back in Sound area,  there is parking at various beach access for beach goers.

July 15^th - October 18: $120

How It Works:
Run a 5k on the hour every hour. Individual and team options!
- 7:30 am - Begin 1st 5K, each subsequent 5K will start on the hour
- Last 5K begins at 11:30 am

The Course: 
A 5k loop with a shared start/finish line.  Participants must be ready at the start line at the top of every start hour.

Individuals:
Can you complete all five loops? Run all 25K for the most bragging rights of the day. Awards are based on cumulative time.

Teams:
Is your endurance race curious? Or trail running curious? Both?  This is a welcoming event for you!  There is even a small portion of a dune to cross.

* Teams of 2: May either alternate 5k's with one person doing 3 5K's, the other team member will run 2 5k's. 
* Running only 1 5K on a team is not allowed

Timing:
All loops are chip timed.  Results will be based on total cumulative time. 

Time cutoff:
Participants must be able to finish each 5k loop in 55 minutes. Anyone who does not meet the time cutoff each hour will not be permitted to continue and only their finished laps will be listed in the results

Swag:
Every participant receives a t-shirt, custom finisher medal, drinks and snacks at the start/finish.  Food and beer!

Stroller and pet policy: 
SORRY-Strollers and pets are not allowed on the 5k loops for Another Round 25K participants.    

Awards:
Based on cumulative time

Individual Awards:
Overall, fastest male and female winner.

Team awards:
Teams of 2 (coed, all male, all female)

Race Etiquette:
All participants are asked to use proper run etiquette at this event. Pacers are not permitted to run with you.  Race bibs must be worn and visible at all times.

Important info:
Anyone who chooses not to participate in this event must pick up their shirt and bib at packet pick up.  These items will NOT be available after packet pickup or saved for no shows, or mailed out. Swag awarded at the finish line (medals) will not be given to or saved for registrants who do not compete the race.
