REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EVEN IN THE EVENT OF RACE CANCELLATION.

Category Changes Policy

Race category changes can be completed within your EnMotive Account, prior to race day.

How to change my distance or category:

  1. Log in to your EnMotive account
  2. Click 'My Account' in the upper right corner
  3. Click on registrations the left hand side
  4. Find the registration block for the registration you are trying to change distance or category
  5. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the registration block to 'View Registration'
  6. Click 'Edit' next to the distance or category** 
  7. Once you click edit, select your new category. A refund/upcharge may be issued depending on the setup of the event you are registering for
  8. Update and save!
*If there is no edit button, the event does not allow category changes; please reach out to help@enmotive.com or the event organizer to continue.
  • You may switch your current race registration to any other race of your choosing within the same event.

    If you are switching to a shorter distance, or less expensive race, you WILL NOT receive a refund of the difference from your original registration.

    If you are switching to a longer race, or more expensive race, you will be required to pay the difference between your original race category and your new race category before your registration can be officially changed.

    Any fees you may owe for switching race categories should be paid at the time of your registration switch. If a race has been sold out, a registration change will no longer be available.

Transfer Policy

Transfers can be completed prior to race day from your EnMotive Account. Once your bib is assigned, transfers must be completed at packet pick up.

Transfer your registration to another participant:

  1. Log in to your EnMotive account
  2. Click on Registrations on the left side navigation
  3. Scroll to the registration block that you want to transfer and click the 3 dots in the upper right corner
  4. Select Transfer Registration
  5. Enter the email address of the person you want to transfer the registration to
  6. That individual will receive an email notifying them of the transfer, and they'll be instructed on how to accept it
    • The transfer will only be valid for 48 hours, so be sure they accept quickly!
**Please note: Registration transfers are done at the discretion of the race director. If it is not offered for an event, you will not see the Transfer Registration option in your registration. You should reach out to the race organizers directly for further assistance.

To transfer a race bib from one person to another will require a $25 bib transfer fee. Please note that the participant to whom the bib is transferred cannot upgrade that transfer. THE TRANSFER MUST BE DONE OFFICIALLY. To allow another person to unofficially compete with your bib will be grounds for disqualification from the race results and may result in a ban from all future OBXSE races and events.

Under no circumstances do we offer any refunds. If you purchased Race Insurance - EnMotive Protection Plan, you may file a claim for qualifying circumstances. Otherwise, there are absolutely NO refunds, even in the event of race cancellation — NO exceptions.
