Jockey's Ridge State Park
Event Reminders and Packet Pick Up:
- Packet pick up is on Wednesday from 3-5 at Jockeys Ridge State park in the visitors Center.
- Packet Pick up on Thursday is from 7:00 am-7:30 am, after that we close the Kiosk. It is better to do this on Wednesday.
- There is plenty of parking at Jockeys Ridge.
- If you want a beer, make sure you have an ID.
Finish off your Independence Day weekend by supporting an OBX treasure – Outer Banks Sporting Events invites you to run/walk/overcome 2 miles on the tallest natural sand dune system in the eastern US! Attracting runners looking for a "unique" challenge (and drawing a very competitive field), we also welcome people to walk the course (not just a "walk in the park" though)! Benefits Friends of Jockey's Ridge, a local non-profit dedicated to preserving & enhancing the Park.
2-Miler Adult - Ages 16+
2-Miler Youth - Ages 12-15
2-Miler Military - Receive 10% military discount
